Salaams all
Saturday late afternoon/evening, back in birmingham, have alist of 8 squillion things left to do and not many done. Mrs Moo’s family round, had nice barbecue chiken on an instant barbecue, now about to eat kheema with fresh nan. Birmingham may be the UK equivalent of Rawalpindi, but t does have its advantages at times.
To think in 18 hours or so we will be in the airport. Aargh. Must go comfort eat (you would think I am going on a gastronomic holiday rather than a charity field trip – such are the contradictions in life).
Our man in Kabul called earlier, to check all was ok. What a nice man he is. Good to know mobiles are available in Kabul, so its not that backward. They get premiership football and everything.
