Contemplating changes…
About to go to Jumah, so a quick note
I am looking to make some changes. In December, I was thinking about some New Years resolutions and Awkward Moo thought, no, July is a much better time for resolutions, the days are longer and it is warmer. Also, this week I have been:
- Looking into the funding of local Birmingham organisations,
- Looking at restructuring at work,
- Seeing the end in sight of the torpid house refurbishment,
- Having an inspiring conversation with someone who I had only an e-relationship with.
I am going to do some decisive planning this weekend, regarding my life, work, hobbies and where I am heading. There may also, as a consequence, be some changes to this site. Life is dynamic. If we are not progressing we are regressing. I am going to try to adhere to the principle that ‘the quicker the change, the quicker it can be undone’. That is not what I am looking for. Please say a wee prayer for me if you get the time.
In the meantime, here is a picture (with added sepia thanks to Picasa) I took when I visited Syria a few years ago. I miss Syria. I will put the Iran photos on Flickr soon as well, insha’Allah.
